German embassy

 Thapar Univeristy Student Satellite team went to meet the Science Counsellor at German Embassy, New Delhi on 11th August 2009. TUSSAT Team discussed their satellite payload and Research Objective.The Science Counsellor, Dr. Heinz Wirth , was impressed by the endeavour of the students and offered full cooperation and support to Thapar University student Satellite Team. TUSSAT Team and Embassy of Germany, New delhi will engage in the detailed study of the payload and other aspects of the TUSSAT Project.

TERI

 

Thapar Univeristy Student Satellite team went to meet the Research Fellow at The Energy and Resource Institute, New Delhi on 6th July 2009 on the invitation of Dr. Mishra, Director, Climate Change at TERI . TUSSAT Team discussed their satellite payload and Research Objective.The Research Fellow, Prasun K. Gangopadhyay, was impressed by the endeavour of the students and offered full cooperation and support to Thapar University student Satellite Team. TUSSAT Team and TERI, New delhi will engage detailed study on the payload and other aspect of the TUSSAT Project.

IIT Bombay

 

Thapar Univeristy Student Satellite team went to IIT Bombay to attend the NEC Workshop and disscus about the TUSSAT project with the IIT Bombay Student Satellite Team. TUSSAT Team also recieved support and guidance from Dr.H.B. Hablani , who is an expert in Control System. Prof.Hablani also agreed to mentor TUSSAT ADCS Team. It was a great learning experience for the team as they learned various new concepts and practical guidance from both the students and faculty members of IIT Bombay.
